Renowned English portrait artist, David Goatley, has been a frequent visitor to Josephs International School. David has painted many prominent world figures during his career as a portraitist, including members of the British Royal family. In 2017, he traveled to Jaipur to spend time at the school and to help prepare a gift from the students to be presented to Sawai Padmanabh Singh, the newly crowned Maharaja of Jaipur. Letters to Friends is a photographic record of the 100's of letters that have been exchanged between Josephs International School and Still Waters in a Storm, a relationship that reaches more than 11,835 kilometers from door to door. Beginning in December 2105, the two schools have corresponded with photographs, art work, drawing, essays, letters, poems, and the occasional Skype calls!
